The main aims of this study were to explore the selection methods, organizations, positive and/or negative functions, and necessary facilitating measurements for the selection of public junior high and elementary school of both county/city and school levels.
The main methods applied in this study were literature review and questionnaire survey. The 800 samples for this study including the members of principal selection committee, education administrators, school principals, school chiefs, teachers and student parents were selected from Taipei County and Hsin Chun City. The methods used to analyze the data collected from the questionnaire were frequency distribution, percentage proportion, chi-squared test, t-test and F-test.
