The purpose of this research paper is to experiment with the concept of an elementary school design in a Chinese classical garden setting of Lin's garden in Pan Chiao. The two main objectives are as follows: 1. To create an educational environment with a physical surrounding of cultural meaning. 2. To enable the student to appreciate the art and culture of Chinese classical gardens.
