The main purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics of elderly users and non-users of the Lin-Kou public library; the attitudes of elderly library users and non-users toward the Lin-Kou public library; and the information needs & information seeking behavior of the elderly in Lin-Kou area. The interview method was used to conect data for this study. Starting from February,1986 to April,1986. Seventy older adults in the Lin-Kou area were interviewed by the researcher and one assistant.
