This research uses the land use data from three different time period, 1982, 1988, and 1994, to analyze the temporal trend and propose the spatial dissemination model of land use changes in the Chungho city. Ancillary data, such as the 1/5000 photographic base maps and the urban land use division maps are used to assist analyzing the urban land use pattern, and the spatial structure of urban land uses.The preliminary results reveal that educational land uses are closely related to the site location, and show temporal spatial interaction. However, transportation land uses shows little interrelationship with the location.
