By analyzing the current situation of spatial resources of Tamusi as well as according to its layout of the whole spatial resources for leisure activity, this paper aims at seeking a balance point that meets the residents' requirements and economic development in the utilization of leisure spaces of Tamsui. It aids to perpetuate the life style of Tamsui community and gain a rejuvenating strength for development. This study bears in mind that Tamsui' s indigenous life style should be maintained and cultivated while pursuing the regional development to achieve the integration and linkage of spatial resources of Tamsui. With this, Tamsui will become a “Cultural Sightseeing City” for the large Taipei area.
