The purpose of this study is to develop a network-based cooperative learning system. The students will explore in Jiou-Fen, a small town in northern Taiwan,and help each other in order to accomplish missions assigned by their teacher. The designed -in on-line help from both the system and the teacher is available. The expectation is that the students will acquire knowledge effectively and enjoyably in this interactive environment.
