英文摘要
Keteleeria davidiana var. formosana is a rare species endemic to Taiwan . Its distribution is narrowly limited to two localities at low altitude of the island. Ping-Lin is in the extreme northern part, ca. 400 km away from the another habitat at the southern end. At Ping-Lin environmental factors (e.g. altitude, slope, aspect, whole light sky space, soil moisture, soil pH-value etc.) and plant species were investigated in 18 sampled quadrats (10* 10m ?? ) within an area of ca. 3*3 km ??. The results of plant community analysis reveal diversities in the secondary forests of 183 vascular plants. The quadrats with saplings of the keteleeria species are significantly different from those quadrats without saplings in environmental factors such as altitude (506m vs. 412m) and A-layer soil pH-value (4.08 vs. 4.39), as well as in phytosociological classification. The quadrats with saplings of the Keteleeria species anchor in the middle levels of the DCA Axis.
