This research is subject to discuss the present situation, the difference and the related situations of the leisure activity participation, cognition, and attitude of the elementary school children from the fifth and sixth graders of Nei-Hu District in Taipei City.Questionnaires were used to collect data from the elementary school children of the fifth and sixth grades. One class was drawn from each grade in each school, and 24 classes were surveyed in the total of 725 school children. 13 of which were invalid samples and therefore 712 valid samples were used. The final data were analyzed using percentile, average, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and product-moment correlation.
