I have noticed that the special residential environment of the core area in Peitou is gradually destroyed by the traditional planning mode. The government puts emphasis on the development of the industry and neglects the reorganization of the residential environment, lowering the residential quality. Therefore, I hope that we could restructure a new method to improve the residential environment in the view of the residents, in order to enhance the living quality. Chin Mu Jen brought up an idea called “All Living Perimeter” in 2000.His idea has given me the inspiration to do the research. The core area in Peitou has some characteristics that meet the requirement of “All Living Perimeter”. That’s the reason why I came up with the idea of “ All Living Perimeter of The Core Area in Peitou.” However, the “All Living Perimeter” is still a theory. We have to find a practical way to put the theory into use. That’s the main purpose of this research.I hope I can do the observation of residential environment and make the strategy from a different point of view to construct an environment meeting all the residents’ needs. Let all the residents enjoy the healthiness, safety, convenience, peace and comfort.
