本研究主要目的為建構都市地震災害危害度之評估方法，研究內容主要區分為三個部份
1.都市地震災害危害度評估方法之建構。
2.如何利用地理資訊系統（Geographic Information System；以下簡稱GIS）作為評估結果的整合工具。
3.利用前述研究成果針對台北市南港區都市公園及中小學進行現況調查與評估。

There are three major objectives in this study：
1. To set up the Risk-Evaluation method to asses the risk of parks and schools in an urban area.
2. To set up a Risk-Evaluation Information System base on the Risk-Evaluation method by using Geography Information System（GIS）.
3. To conduct field survey for the parks and schools in Taipei Nankang District by Risk-Evaluation method.
