A large reservoir has been proposed in Ping-Ling, Taipei County. This study reviewed similar case history of other reservoirs. It is discovered that the proposed project will probably bring about directly impacts on local industry and daily life. The issues that the interviewees concern
the most are project implementation, indemnity, relocation, traffic rerouting, and future watershed management policies, with traffic rerouting as the most concerned issue.
