The process of this thesis was: collecting related literature based on the researching motive and intention in the first place, then tried to obtain a further knowledge about Chinesd garden's characteristic and the concept of social carrying capacity in order to establish the study hypothesize and framework. On the experimental research, ite collected data required through questionaire and visitor counting at the Lin Family Residence----the traditional Taiwanese garden. The hypothesize was tested by statistic methods of frequency analysis, factor analysis, and ANOVA et al.. Finally, the conclusion and suggestion was noted according to the results.
