There have been very serious flood problems in Xi-Zhi City of the Taipei County in recent years. In order to understand the residents' hazard perceptions and their adjustments as the basis of the management strategy of the government in the context of citizen involvement, this research is an attempt to investigate the relationships between residents' basic attributes, flood perceptions and adjustments for the verification of the hazard perception model, using residents in Xi-Zhi City as samples in the view of geographical behavioral approach.
